CALSTAR Membership

We had Debbie Pardi talk to us about the CAL-STAR Shock/Trauma Air Rescue program. If we sign up as a group (need 5 or more to make up a group) each family can sign up for one year at a cost of $35. When and if transportation by air ambulance is needed and CAL-STAR is dispatched, there would be no cost to a member or his family. CAL-STAR bills the insurance, what ever the insurance pays is what the total cost is, if no insurance or the insurance does not pay anything to CAL-STAR the member receives NO bill. Air transportation in an emergency cost begins at $10K per event and goes up from there depending on circumstances.

I have made copies of the enrollment forms and will leave them in the HOG box at Duell's for all members interested. The cost is $35 per family, make checks payable to Mendocino Co. HOG, leave the check and the registration form in the HOG box at Duell's. I have volunteered to act as the administrative person for the Club and will be turning in all applications after the Thursday, April 3rd, 2008, General meeting.

Thanks.
Don M.
